Zimbabwean Exemption Permit (ZEP) applications to open soon On Friday 08th of September 2017, the Minister of Home Affairs, Hlengiwe Mkhize announced the closure of the Zimbabwean Special Permit (ZSP) and the opening of the new Zimbabwean Exemption Permit (ZEP). The new permit grants Zimbabweans the right to continue working, studying or conducting their own business in South Africa for a further four (4) years.
