United Kingdom Expansion Worker Visa

A UK expansion worker visa allows you to come to the UK to set up a branch of a business that isn’t trading in the UK yet.

To qualify and apply for the Expansion Worker Visa, you must

• Have a valid sponsorship certificate from your employer
• You must have worked for your employer outside the United Kingdom
• Do a job that’s on the eligible occupations list
• You must be paid at least the minimum eligible salary required for your job

You must supply the following forms and documents

• Your certificate of sponsorship’s reference number
• A valid passport or another document that proves your identity and nationality
• Your job title and annual salary
• Your job’s occupation code
• Your employer’s name and sponsor licence number
• Proof you have sufficient personal savings to support yourself in the UK
• Your tuberculosis test results if you’re from a listed country

You might also need to provide the following

• Evidence you’ve worked for your employer outside the UK
• A valid ATAS certificate, if necessary
• Proof you’ve worked for the company for the past 12 months
