Overview: South Africa’s Intra-Company Transfer Visa

SA ICT Visa Overview

Watch this thorough video overview from our Johannesburg Branch Manager, Lindi Mapota, as she describes the processes behind applying for a South African Intra-Company Transfer Visa.

The SA ICT Visa is a work visa aimed at allowing staff members from an overseas branch, subsidiary or affiliated business of a South African company. The focus here is specifically a transfer of skills, so in order to qualify, a company must provide a detailed Transfer Skills Plan as well as other important documentation mentioned in the video.

Unlike most other countries in Africa, the SA ICT Visa is aligned with international best practices and is valid for four years from approval.

To begin the process, request that your company’s Human Resources Department contact an IBN consultant, who will ensure that you collate the necessary documentation correctly.
