Application to Namibian Tourist and Business Visitor Visa Starts Here

A Namibia Tourist Visa is for people who want to visit the country for pleasure. People who want to see popular and off-the-beaten-track tourist attractions and experience Namibia’s rich culture.

People from visa-exempt countries, of which there are 49, can enter the country with a valid passport and will get Namibia visas for 90 days at the port of entry.

A Namibian Business Visa falls under this category because it’s a travel visa, not a visa type that allows holders to work in Namibia. It’s given to people looking for opportunities to open a business in the country. Activities allowed on these types of Namibian visas include:

  • Meetings with subsidiaries of their parent companies
  • Official government visits
  • Conferences
  • Corporate events
  • Meetings with no remuneration
  • Short training courses (not more than 90 days)
  • Sports events
  • Expositions
  • Trade fairs

Note: People on this visa must pay the costs and related fees for the business visa. The exceptions are people from countries with a Visa Abolition Agreement with Namibia.
