The Mauritius Family Occupation Permit has now been made available. This allows Domestic Workers to immigrate to Mauritius.
Authorities in Mauritius have advised that to be eligible for a Family Occupation Permit, the applicant should make a minimum contribution of USD 250,000 or its equivalent in freely convertible foreign currency to the COVID-19 Projects Development Fund.
The applicant, their spouse, child, parent, other dependent or any other person working exclusively for the family unit on application, may become a resident for a period of 10 years. The application for the Family Occupation Permit is submitted to the Economic Development Board.
