AltGen Partners with IBN

AltGen recently had the privilege of beginning a partnership with award-winning immigration company IBN Immigration Solutions, who provide specialist immigration services around Africa and international locations.

Who is AltGen?

AltGen is a group of companies leading the way in recruitment, employment services and HR-related consulting in Renewable Energy across Africa. We have offices in South Africa, Kenya, Mauritius and now the United Kingdom with a stellar track record to showcase our ability to solve people-orientated problems our clients face.

The company is broken down into 3 fields of operations, namely Recruitment, Consulting, and Employment Services.

Why choose AltGen

In essence, AltGen can act as the de facto employer in various geographies through employee and HR services and consulting, bringing refined knowledge and expertise to the table which optimises time and costs of the process, allowing the company and employees to hit the ground running.

Alongside that is a practical list of Employment Check Services that optimise the overall sourcing, recruitment, and onboarding process for both client and candidate. These services we offer not only apply to the local hiring and onboarding processes but are all useful tools when it comes to taking your career abroad and moving to another country.

These services include Basic Checks for South African nationals, where we conduct credit, ID, and qualification checks on potential new employees, Criminal Checks that can be done in any major city in South Africa or using our in-house biometric officer, and Social Media checks where a full assessment is carried out in accordance with South African data protection legislation.

Additionally, AltGen offers International Qualification checks, where we offer checks on international degrees and certificates which proves to be convenient and efficient when it comes to qualified individuals immigrating, and finally, our Digital Reference Checks, where we offer a bespoke and formalised employment reference check through modern smart technology.

What this partnership will mean

A common challenge faced in various regions when it comes to the renewable energy market and clean energy generation is employee skills gaps, depending on technological development, local infrastructure and economy, legislation, and regulations. This is making the global migration of skills – whether it’s IT, engineering, or business development – more crucial and lucrative depending on where they are needed and making organisations like IBN extremely important and beneficial in facilitating these processes. With a comprehensive list of employment services, we hope that collectively AltGen and IBN can work together to fill the gaps in various international markets and connect skills with opportunities.
