(ICT) INTRA-COMPANY TRANSFER VISA EXTENSIONS

INTRA-COMPANY TRANSFER VISA EXTENSION

An Urgent reminder to Corporates using (ICT) Intra-Company Transfer Visas

The new update on (ICT) Intra-Company Transfer Visas enables all current visa holders to extend the validity thereof with an additional 2 years, if the visa is due to expire before 30 June 2022.

Thus, most individuals will now be able to remain in South Africa for 6 years on this visa, and some might reach 7 years. It is however critical for applicants to bear in mind that these years cannot count towards a permanent visa, and the same job position needs to be held for the duration of the visa.

HOW DOES THE INTRA-COMPANY TRANSFER VISA EXTENSION AFFECT YOU:

1. An additional 2 year allowance for these applicants to work within the country. This is especially advantageous if the project is not yet done.
2. The company now has more time to plan and prepare for the local appointment of these applicants, if need be.

We encourage you to Contact-Us regarding the visa process of any of your employees whose visa will expire before the 30th of June 2022, in order for you to reap the benefits of this update.
